About Us

Frank Hobbs Elementary is located in a park-like setting with a preschool on one side and the University of Victoria up the hill.  We are a K-5 school with few staff changes and a stable student population. Our student body includes English Language Learners from several international locations and students with Aboriginal heritage. Our catchment area includes the University of Victoria student housing, Cadboro Bay and up to Ten Mile Point.

We are a school known for a focus on academic achievement, social and environmental responsibility, and participation in fine arts, sports, and fitness. Parents play a critical role in promoting and encouraging their children’s learning. Our vibrant Parent Advisory Council is supportive of the learning opportunities provided by our very capable staff as well as sponsoring chess, tennis and badminton lessons for all students.
